**Job Overview**

**Duties**
- Facilitate educational workshops and support groups to empower individuals in their recovery journey.
- Supervise and support young people in a residential setting.
- Support individualized wellness plans in collaboration with clients, focusing on their unique needs and goals.
- Provide resources and referrals to clients for additional support services.
- Engage with clients through one-on-one sessions to discuss challenges and strategies for overcoming obstacles.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress in compliance with organizational policies.

**Requirements**:

- Strong communication skills with the ability to support diverse audiences effectively.
- Understanding of the challenges faced by individuals with addictions, particularly in relation to recovery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, demonstrating empathy and active listening abilities.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- A background in youth care is essential.
- Knowledge of addictions and recovery communities a definite asset.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
