We are currently looking for a **Forecasting & Planning Analyst **to join our team

Reporting to the Procurement and Quality Manager, this position is key to analyzing past demand to update our item forecasts, have weekly communication with sales regarding demand extremes vs. forecast and review new/lost businesses.

**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Forecasting/Planning: Meet monthly with Sales & Marketing to forecast all A/B items as well as upcoming sales / promos. Also, meet with Contracts to forecast new/lost business on the contract side of our business.
- Find new ways to reduce inventory and manage stock levels

**Desired Skills and Experience**:

- Good communications skills: Internally as well as externally at various levels in meetings
- Excellent organizational skills: Stay on top of a variety of activities / ensure timely responses and follow up
- Excellent Excel skills: There is a lot of number crunching/reviews
- Accuracy: Ensure information is input correctly in all data management activity
