As a
**Risk Analyst Co-op**, you will be an integral part of protecting Relay and our customers against fraud by identifying transactions that may be fraudulent as well as resolving these issues and ensuring access for our customers. This role will analyze existing trends and advise on our process to ensure that we are delivering first-class support to our customers. **What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Monitor detection software and review alerts for suspected fraudulent activity
- Resolve fraud cases with customers in a timely manner
- Communicate with customers to validate information and authorizations
- Determine existing fraud trends by conducting research and analyzing transaction patterns
- Conduct in-depth analysis of suspected fraud cases and provide clear recommendations

**Who You Are**:

- You are in an Economics or Finance major with an interest in learning about risk and compliance
- You have excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- You have strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- ou have strong attention to detail
- You have the ability to handle sensitive information
- You’re excited about the opportunity to help shape our risk function

**Reports to**:Head of Risk

**Duration**:May 1st - August 25th

**Compensation**: $20/hour

**Employment Type**: Full-time Co-op

**Work Location **:Tuesdays/Thursdays in office at 60 Adelaide St E, Monday/Wednesday/Friday remote
