Urban Barn is seeking a **Part**-Time Key Holder** **to join our team in our **Flagship South Granville** location in Vancouver, BC.

Our Key Holders are responsible for supporting store management to create a positive working environment for the team and an excellent shopping experience for our customers. This includes acting as a supervisor, opening the store for business and ensuring we are ready to welcome customers, and/or closing down for business, and preparing our store for the following day. Key Holders treat the store as their home and act as a link between management, the team, and the warehouses to ensure we meet customer needs. Our Key Holders earn an hourly base, plus uncapped commission, and bonuses.

**Who You Are**
- Passionate about interior décor/design and merchandising
- Outgoing, with a love of talking with people - naturally able to connect and converse with customers
- Ability to create connections through clienteling
- Sales-driven while being respectful and customer-focused
- Friendly, self-motivated, and vibrant
- Strong communication and listening skills

**What You Bring**
- 2 years’ experience retail sales leadership required
- Experience in Interior Design and confidence in the ability to design a space with new furniture considered an asset
- Flexible availability to work weekday mornings/afternoons and weekends (open weekend availability is a must)
- A talent for establishing rapport with customers and offering exceptional service
- Ability to coach, train and direct team members while maintaining open communication and productivity
- Highly organized, motivated, and can get quality work completed
- Ability to lift/move stock weighing up to 50 lbs.
