**The Role**

As a Sales Associate, you’ll engage customers, discover their needs, and recommend the right products and services. You’ll maintain strong product knowledge, stay on top of promotions, and work with your team to hit store goals—while maximizing your own commission potential.

**What You’ll Do**
- Greet, engage, and guide customers to solutions that fit their needs.
- Demonstrate products and explain technical features in plain language.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current sales, promotions, policies, and security practices.
- Support retail operations: restock shelves, organize backstock, and participate in store transfers.
- Keep the store clean and presentation-ready (e.g., dusting, glass cleaning, merchandising).
- Process transactions accurately and handle in-store pickup orders.
- Assist with photofinishing orders and Henry’s Learning Lab/course sign-ups.
- Promote value-add services (e.g., Henry’s Extended Life Plan, accessories, newsletter sign-ups).
- Participate in store events, classes, activations, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with teammates to meet customer satisfaction and sales targets.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the manager.

**A Day in the Life**

You arrive a few minutes early, review yesterday’s results and today’s promos, and get inspired by the latest gear. Between customer interactions, you tidy the floor, restock, and test a new 4K demo camera. You ask smart questions to understand a DSLR shopper’s experience level, bundle the right accessories, register them for a Learning Lab course, and explain the Extended Life Plan. By day’s end, you’ve helped multiple customers, learned something new, and contributed to the team’s targets.

**What You Bring**
- Genuine passion for photo/video and technology; you love talking gear.
- Strong customer service skills and a consultative sales approach.
- Clear, friendly communication—able to match different levels of technical understanding.
- Curiosity and a learning mindset; you like knowing what’s new and why it matters.
- Team-first attitude and comfort in a fast-moving retail environment.
- Retail or customer service experience is an asset (not required).
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
