**WORK ILLUSTRATION**:
The Capital and Maintenance Program Analyst is responsible for the effective business operations associated with Toronto Hydro-Electric Systems Limited (THESL) Capital and Maintenance programs and operating expenses. Responsibilities include: data gathering, data analysis, identifying gaps and trends as well as producing reports related to the THESL Capital and Maintenance Work Programs. The incumbent will develop processes, procedures and tools to ensure governance and compliance in the delivery of the THESL Capital and Maintenance Execution Work Program. The Analyst will also develop databases and automated reports to assist leaders and external stakeholders in the efficient and effective management of the capital work programs and provide support to the ongoing responsibilities of the Stations and Capital Projects West teams.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Knowledge of SAP, MS Excel and MS Word is mandatory
- Ability to manage both internal and external stakeholders (i.e. Finance, design, construction, procurement)
- Experience with TECO and In-Service Assets (ISA) process
- Knowledge of maintenance and capital program within TH
- Analysis of gaps and trends for various projects/ programs
- Knowledge of understanding, write ups and reading of RFP and/or contract documentations
- Prepare reports pertaining to project/program status and outcomes. (i.e.: cost and resource analysis)
- Manage performance of contractors (i.e.: Ability to issue Non-Compliance (NCR), Purchase Order/Purchase Requisition, Sole Source Justification Form)
- Monitoring monthly billings associated with project (i.e.: invoice receipting, accrual, actual cost extraction)
- Develop Field Contractor Report Cards
- Issue STAMP for material, tool and PPE
- Conduct periodic field visits for on-going station project
- Proactive manage multiple tasks and deadline with minimum supervision
- Identifies gaps and trends and performs analyses to determine root causes and develops recommended solutions
- Gathers data, performs data analysis and creates reports ensuring accuracy of data
- Leads and participates in process improvement initiatives as well as process mapping activities in support of departmental continuous improvement programs. Liaises with internal and external stakeholders to assist in the successful coordination and delivery of project/ execution
- Performs periodic analysis and monitoring of operations data for the purposes of quality assurance
- Participates in corporate wide initiatives to support overall business strategy
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Electrical Engineering preferred)
- Three (3) - Five (5) plus years’ of experience in data analysis, gap analysis and reporting results
- Three (3) - Five (5) plus years of experience in working with various stakeholders and contractor management preferred
- Class G license is required
- Station knowledge and experience is an asset
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Two (2) or more years of experience in construction project environment
- Familiarity with SAP enterprise modules is mandatory
- Project/program management experience preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) designation preferred
- Excellent analytical and business solution development skills, including the proven ability to function effectively in a dynamic environment
- Able to proactively flag At-Risk areas of business based on analysis of data and KPIs
- Ability to develop statistical tracking methodologies to track performance and measurement against set standards of quality
- Ability to develop dependable feedback systems and tracking
- Experience with process mapping and procedure writing
- Business and strategic thinking acumen
Toronto Hydro has introduced a Hybrid Work Arrangement. This position allows for remote work up to three days per week, based on business needs. Employees will be required to come onsite on those days when they are involved in activities that they or their leader feel are better conducted in person. You are expected to live in Ontario and within reasonable commuting distance of the office.
