We continue to grow and today are looking for a committed, talented, star to join our team as our **Quality Assurance Co-op.**

**Position Summary/Objective**:
Reporting to the QA Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the development of a company-wide training program on Quality systems and optimizing current Quality processes through data reporting and analytic practices.

**Key Accountabilities and Activities**:

- Under the guidance of technical staff, the Co-Op/Intern student will be responsible for:

- ** Training Development** - Support the development of Food Safety and Quality focused training for all levels of the organization
- ** Gap Analysis** - Assist with identifying current state and ideal state of various Quality processes (including training), highlighting opportunities of improvement
- ** Analysis and Insights** - Utilize data analytic tools to identify trends in product-related data
- Keeps the work atmosphere **FUN **by keeping it light and welcoming
- Demonstrate and uphold Riverside Natural Food’s core values
- Other duties as assigned

**Reporting Relationship**:

- The position reports directly to the QA Specialist.

**Qualifications**:

- Enrolled in a college or university engineering or science program in a related food, chemical, biological, biomedical field.
- Solid computer skills with intermediate level in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Experience in Excel with macros, add-ons, and developing dashboards is considered an asset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), ability to convey complex information to a non-expert audience
- Working knowledge of root cause analysis, statistical analysis, and Lean methodologies
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with a high degree of accuracy
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills, self-starter with a high level of initiative and **ADAPTABILITY**:
