**NOTE**: Applicants must have **at least 5 years** of **asphalt raking experience** to be considered.

We are seeking a highly skilled and hardworking asphalt raker to help our team complete various projects. As an asphalt raker, you will be responsible for spreading, levelling, and smoothing asphalt on driveways, parking lots and other surfaces. You will work closely with our crew to make sure projects are completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

**Responsibilities**:

- Spread and level hot mix asphalt with a rake to create a smooth, even surface.
- Help load and unload materials, tools and equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Operate and maintain hand tools and small equipment used in asphalt paving.
- Help with site preparation and clean-up before and after paving.
- Communicate effectively with crew members to ensure project specifications and timelines are met.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Qualifications**:

- **At least 5 years experience as an asphalt raker is required.**:

- Knowledge of asphalt paving techniques and equipment operation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address any issues that may arise during the project

**Job Types**: Full-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay
