Strong project management skills required.
**Relationships**:
Reports directly to the Operations Manager.
Works closely with the research team in the completion of the specific research program.
**TASKS**:
Design, plan and execute analytical chemistry experiments related to drug eluting medical devices.
Design, plan and execute pilot manufacturing studies related to drug eluting medical devices.
Implementation of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
Take ownership of assigned tasks and work closely with external and internal team members to ensure that the appropriate resources are allocated to projects and that the tasks are completed on time and on budget
Maintain accurate records of work carried out.
Prepare reagents, samples, and solutions.
Operate laboratory instruments on a routine basis.
Timely and accurate entry of data and results.
Other duties as required.
**Location of Work**: Airdrie, Alberta.

**Contract/Hours**:
- This is a full-time contract ( 1-2yrs) with the possibility to extend or transition to a permanent position. 40 hours per week Mon-Fri, 8am-4:30pm, with occasional scheduled work outside normal business hours.
