Maverick Gardner Information Technologies & Solutions Inc. is seeking a technically inclined **IT Support Technician** to provide installation services and end-user support in a dynamic and diverse workplace in Newmarket, Ontario. By troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing IT production systems, the IT Support Technician is responsible to install hardware, assist with onsite troubleshooting, and T1 Helpdesk.

Compensation Range**:$22.50-$25/h + Benefits**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide direct IT support to clients and their end-users.
- Onsite support and installation of IT systems.
- Administer users in accordance with corporate policy.
- (Re-)Imaging, Configuration, and Deployment of end-user systems.
- Diagnose and Repair business software and hardware.
- Resolve logged helpdesk tickets in a timely manner.
- Update computer systems and software in accordance with corporate policy.
- Install or upgrade IT hardware components as needed.
- Schedule and Complete IT Projects

**Required Experience**:

- 1-3 years’ experience working in an IT Support role or IT System Administrator role. _Will accept new graduates of IT related program._
- In-depth understanding of the anatomy of a PC & Operating Systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency within Windows 10/11, Microsoft 365, Azure AD, InTune, etc.
- Basic understanding of Unified Communications (VoIP)
- Basic-Moderate ability to maintain and service Multi-Function Printers.
- Capable of terminating data communication cables, patch panels, jacks, etc. (CAT5e, CAT6, etc.)
- Familiarity with working in Helpdesk ticketing systems. Bonus if familiar with Autotask PSA & Datto RMM.
- Demonstrated ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize tasks to create win/win solutions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a team and independently with mínimal supervision.

**Professional Skills**:

- Demonstrated creativity in complex problem-solving environment and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly document incidents to ensure consistency and reliability when working with other IT Professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to create rapport with clients.

**Required Education or Certifications**
- Ability to obtain CGP (Controlled Goods Program) Clearance and/or Secret Clearance.
- Secondary School Diploma.
- Must have valid G drivers license with clean driving record.

**Preferred Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in computer science, Information Technologies, or a combination of education and equivalent industry experience.

**Salary**: $22.50-$25.00 per hour
