**Position Purpose**:The Mental Health First Aid Contractor position is intended to further the Kaleidoscope’s goals of destigmatizing mental health issues and encouraging people to get the help they need.

**Primary Duties and Responsibilities: Recruitment, Promotion, Event Planning, Community Liaison**
- Schedule and facilitate 1-4 private or public Mental Health First Aid trainings per month, according to Contractor’s availability
- Post upcoming trainings on the Mental Health First Aid website, Ticket Tailor or Eventbrite, and Kaleidoscope’s social media
- Coordinate logistics of communicating with participants before and after the training

**Qualifications and Experience**:

- Mental Health First Aid Instructor Course Completed with Full Instructor status
- Experience facilitating minimum 10 training sessions
- Self-motivated and eager to take initiative
- Interest in learning about mental health resources in Vancouver and across Canada
- Graphic design experience an asset
- Although not required, self-identification of experience with a mental health issue, or second-hand experience through a loved one, is considered an asset for this position

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual
Part-time hours: 10-30 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$200.00 per hour

- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:
