**Responsibilities**
- Prepare a variety of traditional Indian curries with authentic flavors.
- Skillfully use a tandoor for naan, kebabs, and other tandoori specialties.
- Maintain kitchen hygiene and ensure quality in all dishes
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high standards of food quality.
- Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff in food handling techniques, cooking methods, and safety procedures.
- Collaborate with restaurant management to manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs.
- Monitor food presentation and taste to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served.
- Foster a positive working environment by promoting teamwork and effective communication among staff.
- Handle any customer inquiries or complaints regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.
**Qualifications**
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in an Indian restaurant setting.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience supervising kitchen staff.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in food preparation and presentation.
- A passion for culinary arts with creativity in menu planning and execution.

Pay: $17.60-$24.33 per hour
Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
