**POSITION OVERVIEW**

We are currently looking for a full-time Quality Control - Medical Inspectors to join our dynamic team during the afternoon shift on-site at our Markham location. The QC - Medical Inspector is responsible for reviewing the medical products assembled by the production team. The QC - Medical Inspector ensure that the highest standards of quality and cleanliness is met through the production process until final distribution to hospitals and clinics around the world.
- Full-time/permanent position
- Monday - Friday work week
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Hours of Work: 7:00am to 3:30pm

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Conduct visual inspections for in progress and completed product identifying any defects, foreign material, anomalies etc.
- Inspect production lines to ensure Medical Assembly Technicians are following established procedures related to quality control standards of the products assembled
- Verify that finished products are assembled as required and meets company standards,
- Periodically test finished product
- Advise Production Supervisors and Production Manager of any anomalies in product, deviations from procedures, and/or of deficiencies in product quality and/or defects
- Package products, according to established procedures for shipping to sterilization facility
- Responsible for the Hold, reject, release process
- Retain and dispose of finished product samples as per requirements
- Document inspection findings, and complete detailed reports
- Keep all company information confidential as per privacy policy

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Post secondary education in a related field
- Minimum 1 year of direct experience working as a Quality Control Inspector, in a manufacturing environment is required
- Direct knowledge of quality control methodologies
- Previous experience working in a quality control regulation, guidelines, and associated standards
- Previous experience visually inspecting finished products for defects, anomalies, and foreign materials is required
- Previous experience working in a clean room environment
- Experience communicating with all levels of the company quality control information and logistics
- Training and knowledge of six sigma techniques and lean manufacturing are desirable
- Extremely detail oriented and analytical thinking is a must
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
