Wesbell Logistics is looking for an operations manager and this position is responsible for managing the day to day operations and the employees at the Winnipeg facility.

**Specific Duties and Responsibilities**:
1. Hire, monitor and manage drivers, supervisors, dock workers and owner operators

2. Oversee all aspects of the operations in Manitoba

3. Create and implement operational processes to meet company and customer requirements efficiently

4. Complete, manage and approve the payroll of the employees, vendor payables and owner operator invoices

5. Efficiently manage operations costs and expenses

6. Identify problems and opportunities for improvement. Develop and implement solutions.

7. Manage drivers and ensure customer service levels are met and delivery scanning data is completed accurately

8. Assume any other assigned and related tasks as directed

**Education (Theoretical Training)**:
1. High School diploma

2. Post secondary diploma in a related field preferred

**Job Requirements / Experience**:
1. Must have at least 3 years of prior experience in transportation and logistics

2. PC literate with proficiency in MS office, especially Excel

3. Ability to work well in a fast paced environment, with strict time constraints

4. Ability to multitask to meet priorities and commitments

5. Must be an organized self starter who takes initiative

6. Must be a problem solver

7. Ability to mentor a variety of different personalities

8. Superior people skills

9. Excellent oral and written communications skills.

10. Ability to lead and work with various functional teams

11. Travel - periodic to customers and other Wesbell locations

**Salary**: $60,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
