Duties Include:
Tax
- Prepare Canadian tax compliance submissions, including but not limited to income tax returns, sales tax returns, and tax provision work.
- Manage tax estimate payments, monthly instalment payments and year-end tax payments (if any).
- Prepare/coordinate of US tax compliance submissions, including but not limited to income tax returns, review and prepare sales and use tax returns, and tax provision work.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors in China and Mexico for local tax compliance submissions
- Prepare property tax returns for various states in the US
- Respond to various internal tax inquires
- Review and sign off on sales tax exemption requests
- Respond to various government audit requests
- Assist the Director of Tax with tax planning opportunities and research

**Qualifications**:

- One to three years of relevant Tax experience required
- Designated CPA designation, preferred
- Enrollment or completion of CICA In-Depth Tax program preferred
- Strong technical/analytical skills
- Fast learner that is self-sufficient, but also enjoys working as part of a team
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
- Ability to work as a team and across functions within the organization
- Highly proficient in MS Office, Oracle and Adaptive
