**Job Summary**

Innovative Environmental Group is looking for Hazardous Worker to join our team We are an environmental and construction company that has providing a wide range of services from demolition, drilling to hazardous materials abatement.

**Duties/Responsibilities**:

- Remove and dispose of hazardous wastes such as asbestos, mould and lead.
- Follows safety procedures to ensure cleanup is done properly.
- Prepares hazardous materials for safe and legal transport.
- Cleans equipment that may have been contaminated during removal process.
- Record types of materials removed and methods used to clean up contaminated areas.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

**Required Skills/ Abilities**:

- Extensive knowledge of hazardous removal procedures and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read user manuals for products used to clean up contaminants.
- Ability to follow instructions.
- Ability to use power equipment and hand tools to clean up hazardous materials.

**Education and Experience**
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Completion of on-the-job Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) training required.
- Previous experience preferred.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Physically able to remove or clean up hazardous materials.
- Able to lift up to 35 pounds at a time.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to $40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Work Location: In person
