**In your role, you will**:

- Analyze and interpret the various purchase requisitions in order to request bids from external suppliers;
- Analyze various supplier bids and prepare purchase orders for materials, equipment and other items;
- Establish and maintain good commercial and contractual relationships with strategic suppliers;
- Consult and support the technical team as needed in the evaluation of supplier selection;
- Identify, analyze and materialize cost reduction opportunities;
- Provide support to the various sites for all types of purchasing requests;
- Ensure rigorous follow-up of each request to meet agreed deadlines;
- Receive items and approve invoices;
- Participate in project review and adequately maintain project performance indicators based on material ordered;
- Interact with several multi-functional teams (Production, Procurement, Methods, Finance, Manufacturing);
- Support the integration of new tools into Bombardier's manufacturing system;
- Create and update purchasing plans in the appropriate tools;
- You have experience in materials management or purchasing management
- You have experience or knowledge of SAP, Maximo and Ariba an asset
- You have the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings an asset
- You have a strong sense of ethics and are customer focused
- You have good analytical, planning, problem-solving and interpersonal skills are essential
- You are fluent in French and have a good knowledge of English.
