Amici is looking for an experienced Guest Experience Lead that takes pride in the workspace and the food and drinks our guests enjoy. We are a small business and a big part of the local community.

We are looking for a leader to join our team that enjoys interacting with the guests we welcome through our doors, who has a strong work ethic and a can do attitude.

Hours for this position are typically evenings and weekends as that is when most of our guests are in and to be able to make the most impact in hospitality. Weekly hours range from 32- 40 hours a week with a wage of $22 an hour plus tips.

What we are looking for:

- Someone who will go above and beyond with our guests with interactions and greetings
- A fun, energetic people person that is here for the guests to help maximize their experience
- An experienced leader to help guide, mentor and coach the team
- Someone in confident in leader the evening crew through service
- Someone who can make recommendations to guests on food and drink pairings to enhance their experience
- A leader to work with the host and server team to ensure special occasion notes from our reservation system are being reviewed and actioned on tables.
- Presence in the evening with cash outs, customer enquiries and closing down the building
- A liason between both front and back of house

General requirement for the position:

- Restaurant experience of 3 years +
- Leadership experience of 1 year +
- Customer Service experience of 3 years +
- Needs to feel comfortable with guests of all ages
- Wine knowledge a bonus

Amici (Italian for 'friends') Wine Bar is a new hospitality experience that opened last year in Downtown Abby. Inspired by Italy's connection to local agriculture, this modern Italian concept will connect to our unique food in the Fraser Valley, paired with a curated selection of Italian and BC wines, quality cocktails and fine selection of BC craft beers. The food menu will feature a unique twist on classic recipes, designed for any occasion - family-style dinners, date nights or just a casual bite to eat or drink with 'friends'. _Salute_
