**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely operate delivery truck to transport goods between warehouses and designated delivery locations.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and secure transport of all items.
- Oversee and manage delivery orders, confirming accuracy before departure and upon delivery.
- Assist with the receiving, processing, and organization of orders at warehouse locations.
- Pick, prepare, and stage customer orders for shipment as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, transfers between locations, delivery times, and any issues encountered.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, restaurant staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules, order status, and delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies while on the road.
- Perform basic vehicle checks and minor automotive maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.
- Operate forklifts or other equipment when required for loading and unloading freight.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) as required.

**Requirements**:

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous commercial or delivery driving experience preferred.
- Experience transporting goods between multiple warehouse or storage locations is an asset.
- Familiarity with freight handling, order management, and logistics operations is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts or heavy equipment is advantageous (certification an asset).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (50+ lbs) as required.
