**Job Title**: Financial Reporting Manager

**General Job Description**: Perfect role for newly designated CPA with Public Accounting experience. Role will focus on ASPE financial reporting, both internally and externally.

**Job Summary**:
Collection and automation of weekly/monthly dealership prepared reports and preparation of group reports, including;
- Weekly income trending (weekly departmental gross/income compared to monthly forecast)
- Weekly cash report and covenant calculation
- Monthly financial results (direct report to company executives on unit sales, dept gross and net income)

Respond to and follow up with dealership questions on above reports

Assistance at year-end, including but not limited to the following:

- Preparation of internally generated financial statements
- Preparation of NTR files for submission to external accountants
- Review of controller submitted year-end files to ensure documentation is accurate and complete: year-end entries are recorded, intercompany accounts agree, calculate figures needed for consolidation file and record tax provision
- Preparation of T2 corporate tax returns
- Prepare consolidated financial statements
- Liaise with external accountant to complete audit of consolidated financial statements

Other special projects and duties as required by group controllers, chief controller or CFO, including but not limited to:
Implementation and continuous monitoring of new accounting policies to develop consistency across our dealership group

Travel to dealerships at the behest of Chief Controller or CFO to assist with CRA or OEM audits, determination of policy or process breakdown and subsequent implementation of corrective action

Planning and implementation of new accounting/finance computer programs and software

Prepare quarterly reporting package to institutional creditors

General administrative duties

Provide assistance to head office staff to meet yearly strategic goals

**Salary**: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
