**Charter Supervisor**

The Charter Supervisor is responsible for responding to the needs of charter customers and providing outstanding customer service. The Charter Supervisor assists with other Charters tasks as required. This position reports to the Charters Manager.

**Knowledge & Skills Required**
- Must have an understanding of projects and project management
- Must be able to think analytically
- Must be highly organized
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with various departments (ie: operations, maintenance, senior management)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with training/experience in customer service
- Organized and able to prioritize in a non-structured and fluid environment
- Punctual, reliable and committed to providing great service
- Positive and friendly personality
- Skilled in map reading & familiar with attractions in and around Calgary
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, specifically Excel
- Able to work in a team environment as well as independently
- Some out of town travel may be required for certain events or start-ups

**Principal Duties & Responsibilities**
- Communicate with staff regarding ongoing operations and upcoming events
- Return phone calls from clients and drivers in a timely manner
- Meet with major charter clients when time permits
- Complete Charter payroll
- Assist in directing Charter Drivers for arrivals and departures while ensuring the safety of pedestrians and passengers at large events
- Interact with Operations and Maintenance personnel to ensure that charter drivers are in place and equipment is clean and ready when needed

**Working Conditions**

The office of the Charter Supervisor is located in the Operations Building at 65 Highfield Place SE. Typical hours of work are 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday, however hours may vary, both earlier and later, including weekends and Holidays. The Charter Operations Supervisor must be available by cell phone evenings & weekends on a rotational basis. Holidays are taken around the needs of Southland and the boards it serves and therefore are not taken during blackout periods.

**Requirements**:

- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Valid driver's license; must be willing to upgrade to a class 2
- Clear criminal record

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $45,000.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
