Estimator/project Manager

H&H Construction is currently recruiting for an experienced, motivated, and reliable Estimator.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Work effectively in a multi-tasking multi-disciplined team environment and support other estimators and project managers in the department
- Develop an estimate strategy and scope breakdown structure to support the development of each estimate including quantity take-offs, sketches and review/interpret project drawings & specifications
- Utilize construction estimating software to compile detailed estimate information
- Determine estimated construction durations for job forecasting and project scheduling
- Solicit and review subcontractor/supplier quotations, follow-up with scope and pricing clarifications and resolve issues
- Participate in estimate approval, project planning and scheduling meetings with management

**Abilities and Skills**:

- Good knowledge of Word, Excel
- Good knowledge of B2W, or any database estimating software an asset
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written
- Common sense, concentration, ability to read and understand drawings, self-assurance, responsible attitude, and leadership qualities
