**Tasks Involved**
- Assist in the coordination of production schedules for the growers and pickers by creating work orders
- Work with the Production Manager in production areas managing the planting schedule and time management by delegating tasks to Lead Growers and team members.
- Diligent observations of plants, temperatures, water irrigation, pest control and other conditions
- Maintain production quality
- Ensure compliance with company standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety for you and your team members
- Any other tasks assigned by the General Manager or Production Manager
**What You Offer**
- Adequate knowledge of various plants and their characteristics
- Comfortable working in a team setting and independently
- Experience working in horticulture and/or production
- Capable of prioritizing and taking initiative
- Excellent communication skills
- Able to follow directions
- Flexible schedule
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Able to stand for long hours
- Able to work in all weather
- Horticultural education is considered an asset, computer skills with Excel and mathematical computation will also be necessary
