Nepalaya Chews is Surrey, BC based pet treat company. We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our team as a Sales Team Member on the Vancouver Island. This job post is for a member to work at the Sidney Street Market every Thursday from 4:30 pm to 9 pm. We will be adding more markets on Fridays, Saturday and Sundays in Victoria, BC and around. As a Sales Team Member, you will play a pivotal role in representing our brand at various pop-up markets and events for the summer and 2025 Holiday season. You will operate independently before and during the market. Your primary responsibilities will include:

- Pick up market equipment and merchandise from the storage unit.
- Commuting to and from the market
- Setting up the booth at the market according to the predetermined layout.
- Run the pop-up booth indoors or outdoors at the pop-up artisan or farmers market.
- Interacting with customers and educating them about our brand's story and products. Customer Engagement and interpersonal skills are integral requirements for this position. We are known for our exceptional customer service.
- Engaging in sales efforts to drive revenue and meet sales targets.
- Return market equipment to the storage unit.
- Utilize Point of Sale (POS) systems to process sales efficiently.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and maximize sales opportunities.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-organized and visually appealing at all times.

*Experience*
- Previous experience in retail sales and customer service is required.
- Strong skills in cashiering and cash handling are essential for this role.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills
- Self-motivated to achieve individual sales goals.
- Interpersonal skills to engage with market visitors.

Must have own reliable vehicle to drive to several locations across Vancouver Island. Must have reliable smartphone with internet data.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $19.00-$28.00 per hour
