**Summary**:Results driven leader responsible for supervising team members. This position plans and assigns work for inventory control and shipping.
**Responsibilities**:
**Essential Duties**:
- Safety - Ensure safe working environment in maintained.
- Manage tasks involved in traffic logistics management, including data entry, invoicing, product distribution and inventory control and requisitions.
- Attends all production management meetings as required.
- Housekeeping - Maintain housekeeping standards to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
- Material Storage - Establish and maintain designated areas for storing raw materials and finished goods.
- Continuous Improvement - Drive continuous improvement in all aspects of department performance. Promote and sustain management programs designed to continuously improve internal processes.
- Inventory & Stock Control - Ensure Stock usage is correctly recorded on SAP through confirmations and any Bill of Material Changes are implemented.
- Other responsibilities may be added as business needs dictate including covering other roles for vacation cover etc.
Qualifications:
**Education/Experience**:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Three to five years experience in logistics management.
**Other Skills and Requirements**:
- Must maintain current certifications for CPR, First Aid, and Bloodborne Pathogens.
- High level of interpersonal skills.
- Good to excellent spelling, grammar and written communication skills.
- Good telephone and oral communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
