_Are you a food-loving individual ready to continue your growth in a new taco brand in downtown Edmonton?_

**THE ROLE**
The Komune Cook is responsible for preparing various foods and may train across multiple concepts for takeout/delivery/cafeteria-style dine-in. Additionally, some positions may operate at a finishing/expo station, fulfilling orders and providing customer service (i.e., handing off orders, processing payment). Individuals with more experience will have the opportunity to work with our talented chefs launching our new brands. This passionate individual takes a genuine interest in our guest experience while being able to take direction and perform tasks with speed and accuracy.

**THE RESPONSIBILITY**
- Set up and stock stations with necessary supplies and ingredients
- Adheres to brand specifications including preparation and technique
- Upholds safety standards at all times
- Clean, cut, carve, season, cook, portion, label food in preparation for service (i.e., chopping vegetables, slicing fish, mixing sauces, and portioning, etc.)
- Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables, dairy and other foods using knives, electric mixers, food processors, scales, and portion bags
- Prepare food for consumption using ovens, gas stoves, fryers, griddles and broilers
- Accepting online orders and relaying information to the team
- Packaging products in a safe and travel-proof manner; or, plating food attractively
- Accepting payment and fulfilling guest requests when needed
- Participate in daily and periodic training/development (i.e., pre-shift meetings, one-on-ones, new menu training, team meetings, etc.)
- Participate in stock counting and food inventory, notify when low
- Maintain a welcoming and professional environment for guests and team members using respect, honesty and humility
- Performs other assigned duties (i.e., line checks, deep cleaning, periodic cleaning, routine equipment sanitization, etc.)

**WHAT YOU BRING**
- Previous experience working as a Line Cook, Expeditor, or Cashier is considered an asset
- Adaptable and coachable attitude
- Ability to prioritize and multitask under pressure
- Great communication skills using written & spoken English

**WHEN WE WILL NEED YOU**
Currently, we are seeking individuals to fill a PT position; day time and early evening positions

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 20-30 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$17.00 per hour
