**Customer Service**:

- Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and implement strategies to improve service quality.
- Foster a welcoming and friendly atmosphere to enhance the overall customer experience.

**Inventory Management**:

- Manage inventory levels of coffee beans, supplies, and other items.
- Inform owners for inventory replenishment as needed and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Manager inventory usage and minimize waste to control costs effectively.

**Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all products meet quality standards, including coffee beverages, pastries, and other food items.
- Implement FIFO (First in and First Out) on all food and beverages.
- Conduct daily temp inspections on the temp sheet
- Implement quality control procedures to uphold the brand's reputation for excellence.

**Compliance and Regulations**:

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, food handling guidelines.
- Keep abreast of industry regulations and best practices to maintain a compliant and ethical operation.

**Problem-Solving**:

- Address any operational issues or challenges that arise during the shift promptly and effectively.
- Collaborate with management to develop solutions and improve processes.

Overall, the Barista plays a crucial role in ensuring the coffee shop operates efficiently, delivers exceptional customer service, and achieves its business objectives.
