The Construction Estimator will collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to develop comprehensive estimates that reflect the true costs of construction projects.

**Responsibilities**
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects using HeavyBid software.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
- Collaborate with project management teams to assess project requirements and develop budgets.
- Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive bids.
- Maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to gather pricing information and ensure quality standards.
- Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and post-bid negotiations.
- Monitor market trends and ensure pricing accuracy in bids.
- Manage multiple project estimates simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Provide clear and concise bid proposals and presentations to stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the manager and team to prepare project documentation, work orders, and schedules for awarded projects.

**Experience**
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial construction estimating.
- In-depth knowledge of commercial bidding processes and construction methodologies and legal regulations.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable pricing from suppliers and subcontractors.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Currently residing in Canada with a valid working visa (mandatory).
- Class 5 valid drivers license
