Junior Draftsperson

JOEL Theatrical Rigging, Canada's leading theatrical rigging supplier, is looking for a Junior Draftsman to join our established and expanding company based in Mississauga, Ontario. We are looking to fill a junior draftsman position focusing in the mechanical and technical side of manufacturing. **Schedule and Hourly Rate**

This is an entry level full-time position for a guaranteed minimum of 40 work hours/week. Overtime hours are worked as required to meet project deadlines. Salary is dependent upon experience.

**Assets and Areas of Expertise**
- Minimum College Diploma in Architecture Technician, Technology or Equivalent
- Proficiency in AUTOCAD and SOLIDWORKS
- Working knowledge in Microsoft Office
- Strong written/verbal and reading skills mandatory
- Working in an office environment
- Remaining flexible, able to assist with a variety of projects that require different skills including organization, knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.

**Requirements/Qualifications**
- Able to work well independently, and as part of a team in a fast paced environment
- Experience working in an office environment preferred
- Self-starter, takes initiative to work efficiently and seek out new tasks
- Takes pride in their work and being a part of the JOEL team
- Able to communicate well in written and spoken English

A valid Ontario Driver’s License(G Class preferred)

Pay: From $36,000.00 per year
