**Scope of Position**:
The Dishwasher is responsible for assisting with the sanitization of the kitchen, dishwashing area and serving area. The Dishwasher is responsible for washing of all dishes, pots, pans and equipment.

**Available shifts**:
4:00pm-7:00pm (3 hour shift)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Participates as a member of the dietary team and provides support to the other members of the team
- Complies with all infection control standards and health and safety requirements.
- Cleans kitchen, dishwashing area and serving areas.
- Cleans dishes, pots, pans and equipment.
- Assists with other kitchen related duties, as directed by supervisor
- Helps with meal services, clearing tables, resetting tables
- Aware of employees and supervisor’s responsibilities and follows all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Works safely to reduce the risk of injury to self, co-workers, and residents.
- Is alert to, remedies, and promptly reports all actual or potentially hazardous situations.
- Wears personal protective equipment (or clothing) as required by task, MSDS, or home policy.
- Complies with all levels of legislation.
