**About The Role**

As Codezilla’s Social Media Content Creator+Supply instructor your #1 job is to play a key role in creating engaging and informative content across various social media platforms to promote our STEM and coding camps for children. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your creativity, storytelling skills, and passion for education. In addition to content creation, we may need you to supply instruct at one of our camp locations in the event that a permanent instructor is away. This role is 50/50 on-site vs. remote.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute a comprehensive social media content strategy to increase brand awareness, engagement, and enrollment for our STEM and coding camps.
- Create visually appealing and compelling content, including graphics, videos, photos, and written posts, that resonate with our target audience of parents and children.
- Monitor social media channels, respond to comments and messages, and engage with our community to foster meaningful connections and relationships.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, algorithms, and best practices to optimize content performance and drive results.
- Track and analyze key metrics and performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of social media campaigns and make data-driven recommendations for improvement.
- Occasionally assist in supervising campers
- Provide superior customer service; effectively communicating and engaging with parents daily is a must
- Help organize and facilitate staff socials;
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- Experience in Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or Content Creation is considered an asset.
- Proven experience creating engaging content for social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and TikTok.
- Strong storytelling abilities and creative flair, with a keen eye for design and aesthetics.
- Proficiency in creating exceptional video content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor content for different audiences and platforms.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with strong time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of social media analytics tools and experience with performance tracking and reporting.
- Must be 18 years of age at the start of a program;
- Exceptionally friendly and outgoing
- Ability to be responsible (punctual, balance time constraints, etc.);
- Upon hire, a Criminal Background Check (with Vulnerable Sector Screening) is required (over 18 years of age) or Statutory Declaration (under 18 years of age).
- All updated COVID vaccines and immunizations
- Eligible to work under the Canadian Summer Jobs grant, so must be eligible to work in Canada

Compensation & Job Details
- Maximum of 30 hours per week
- The rate of pay for this position is $18/hour
- This is a full time seasonal role
- Paid training, special events and team bonding prior to the camp season
