This role will interact with both internal and external stakeholders and build strong relationships that will support the strategic direction to be a Workplace of Choice.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Coordinate, schedule and attend various recruiting and networking events to promote recruitment and retention
- Act as a liaison between departments, hiring managers and Human Resources to ensure job vacancies are identified quickly and filled efficiently
- Promote vacancies, attend professional conferences, identify sources for reaching potential employees, design and implement successful social media campaigns, attend job fairs and develop relationships with colleges and universities
- Understand CNO Standards and Guidelines and Scope of Practice and applicability in all clinical areas.

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree is preferred
- Experience working in patient care units is preferred
- Post Secondary Education in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related field
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience, within a healthcare environment is preferred
- Superior customer service and interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, specifically with Word and Excel
- Proven ability to adhere to a high standard of confidentiality
- Proven ability to work productively and independently with frequent interruptions
- Proven ability to assess inquiries and problems and to exercise good judgment in making the appropriate referrals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven administrative skills and the ability to organize and prioritize work effectively to meet deadlines
- Demonstrated attention to detail

- Demonstrates an understanding of and commitment to Lakeridge Health's comprehensive safety programs and practices, including staff safety, patient safety, environmental safety, and participates in regular in-service education in this area; and
