Building Groundskeeper

The Building Groundskeeper & Maintenance Worker’s primary responsibility is to maintain our building’s new appearance. Must be experienced in landscaping maintenance/weeding/pruning maintaining the grass/shrubs in a healthy matter to look manicured, equipment operation including bobcat, leaf blower, snow removal equipment, also knowledge of automated sprinkler system is a must. This includes but is not limited to maintaining the building’s exterior/interior, office and production area. This role will be maintaining our facility in Abbotsford and Langley as required.

**What You Will Do**:

- Work effectively with maintenance team for preventative maintenance and follow PM schedule
- Ensuring the painting and touch ups of the offices, production floor, safety marks and columns are performed as required
- Maintaining certification and schedules for elevator and generator with outside contractor
- Maintain detailed logbook (Binder)of Building maintenance supplies, color RAL and common materials for building
- Maintain and install sanitary hardware, hand sanitizers, paper towel dispensers, sinks, faucets, toilets shower hardware as necessary
- Work with department managers and Plant Manager on improvement projects requiring building maintenance
- Assist IT and Maintenance running conduit, network cables, installing time clocks, cameras and other production support equipment as required
- Maintain yard free of clutter, pallets and debris
- Checking fence line for security, checking gates
- Installing siding, longboard tubbing on gates, shipping offices and other projects as required
- Other duties and projects as assigned

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of 2-3 years in a building maintenance roll
- Experience in plumbing, painting and mechanical systems
- Grade 12 high school or equivalent
- Familiar or training on LO/TO PPE and safety policies
- Read and write English
- Crane, forklift, confined space, scissor lift tickets an asset
