We're actively seeking an experienced and safety-focused Class 3 Boom Truck Driver for our Steinbach Branch. In this specialized role, you'll be essential in ensuring the accurate and safe delivery of building materials, including rooftop shingle placements and precise drywall deliveries that often require carry-in service directly to the desired location on residential and commercial jobsites. **As a valuable member of our team, your duties will include**: - Perform daily pre-trip inspections to ensure safe and efficient operations of delivery vehicles. - Accurately load and secure orders, collaborating with yard staff to prevent damage and verify the load against the order. - Execute safe and efficient rooftop deliveries to both residential and commercial job sites. - Perform careful drywall deliveries, often requiring carry-in service directly to specific areas within residential and commercial jobsites. - Guide customers through their delivery process with a friendly and knowledgeable approach. - Complete precise delivery documentation, accurately noting any shortages or changes. - Assist with general yard duties and cleanup as needed. - A strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. - The physical ability to repeatedly lift/carry over 75 lbs. - Demonstrated skill in shingle and drywall deliveries, specializing in efficient rooftop placements and jobsite carry-ins. - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment. - Valid Class 3 driver's license with air brake endorsement. - Availability to work varied shifts, including Saturdays. - Prior boom truck operation experience is a strong asset, and knowledge of building materials is preferred. **Why Choose McMunn & Yates**: Build your career with McMunn & Yates, a growing, COR-certified Manitoba-owned company established in 1971, with 22 retail locations.
