Cashier, Full-Time

Reporting to the Head Cashier, Cashiers play a fundamental role in ensuring a warm and welcoming marketplace for our customers to enjoy. Cashiers process transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining organization of grocery carts and baskets while assisting with making popcorn, merchandising products and stocking shelves.

**What You Bring to Our Team**:

- One year or more of customer service experience
- A friendly smile and welcoming demeanor
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Basic computer and mathematical skills
- Fluency with Canadian currency
- Flexible availability from 8:00 am until 8:00 pm, seven days a week
- Creativity is considered an asset

**What You Get To Do**:

- Provide courteous, friendly and efficient customer service

- Scan products, receive payments and issue receipts
- Notify customers of new signature items and promote products
- Make bows, label and sticker products and stock grocery bags
- Ensure an adequate supply of gift cards are on hand
- Create, maintain and rotate product displays
- Make and package popcorn while providing samples to customers
- Maintain clean and tidy register and front entrance areas
- Resolve customer complaints in a friendly and professional way
- Follow and ensure government regulations, company policies and procedures
- Attend occasional staff meetings
- Other assigned duties as they may arise

**Job Types**: Permanent, Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
