The Equity, Diversity and Inclusion team leads IO in intentionally prioritizing equity of access, experience, and outcomes for IO employees and with our partners, to promote a sense of belonging that represents and reflects the needs of the communities we serve.

**Position Summary**:
Reporting to the Manager, Inclusion, the Inclusion Specialist will enhance organizational culture and integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion principles while addressing systemic racism to ensure equitable representation for equity deserving groups. It includes monitoring workplans, reporting progress on EDI initiatives, and leading training programs on human rights and anti-discrimination. Additionally, the position manages diversity analytics and Employee Resource Groups, Ambassadors Network and EDI Team Communications ensuring alignment with EDI and corporate strategies and oversees the communication of EDI updates across the organization.

**What You Will Do**:

- Integrate and lead Employee Resources Groups (ERGS) and Ambassadors Network ensuring alignment with EDI and Corporate strategy through planning, guidance and counsel.
- Enhance the organizational culture by assisting the Inclusion Manager to ensure that the principles of diversity, equity and inclusion are integrated into processes and programs and provides advice in addressing systemic racism and exclusionary practices to ensure equitable representation and inclusion of equity deserving communities including Black, 2SLGBTQIA+, new immigrants and historically excluded communities and individuals.
- Monitor workplans and strategic plan to ensure goals are met in a timely fashion. Report on overall progress to the Inclusion manager, and organization wide (via committed communication channels) to ensure that learnings and results are utilized to improve EDI programs and processes.
- Assist with demographic survey analytics, including tracking metrics, generating reporting for various audience to highlight trends and demonstrate impact of EDI programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate or procure skills development training, learning opportunities and awareness programs in areas of human rights, discrimination, harassment, anti-racism, anti-oppression, equity, diversity, and inclusion for employees.
- Organize the communications needs of the team and present to the Communications team on a bi-weekly basis.

- Demonstrated experience coordinating employee or volunteer lead initiatives.
- Proven experience in designing and delivering diversity and inclusion approaches which create shared purpose and drive tangible change in an organization.
- Experience building inclusive programs and practices that have demonstrated long-term return on investment; ability to identify measurable metrics, evaluate progress and adapt strategies as needed.
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion including discrimination faced by equity deserving communities.
- Several years of HR and/or administrative experience.
- Experience using data analytics platforms to inform storytelling and presentations.
- Proven ability to develop EDI content, facilitate to large groups of varying. levels of seniority and experience in multicultural learning methodologies.

The hiring range for this position is **$82,800-$124,100** with a corresponding job level of **P4.**
