Superior Facility Services is a family owned company providing laundry and housekeeping services to long term care and retirement facilities for over 30 years. We are searching for a permanent part time Housekeeping Attendant and Food Service worker for one of our locations in Orangeville Ontario - Avalon Retirement Lodge.
Must provide Vulnerable Sector Police Check and TB test.
**Duties**:
Housekeeping: Follow job routines to maintain overall cleanliness of facility; sweep, mop and wash floors; dust furniture; vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture; clean, disinfect fixtures; disinfect rooms and other areas; clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures; clean and disinfect elevators; handle and report lost and found items; pick up debris and empty trash containers.
Food Service Worker: Serve meals to residents in a professional and courteous manner; assist in set up and preparation for food service; set and clear dining tables and deliver tray service as required; assist with cleaning of dishware, cutlery at conclusion of each seating; comply with all provincial regulations and established department policies and procedures and be aware of Resident Rights and Responsibilities; complete all other tasks as assigned.

Working Conditions:
Must enjoy working with seniors and bring a positive can do attitude to work everyday.
Involves pushing, pulling, bending, lifting and standing and walking for long periods of time.
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent, Casual
Pay: From $17.45 per hour
