An artist at heart, your technical abilities across tools and tech is what sets you apart. An adept problem-solver, you will be someone who will find creative solutions to realize artistic visions within the technical limits to build new experiences in AR and VR. You’re an innovator with a sharp nose for improving processes and pipelines, while also maintaining a desire to take ownership and continually fine-tuning your skills. As a CG Artist, you’ll be able to model objects for AR and VR using Unreal and be involved in rigging and animation.

Note, this is a full-time permanent position working out of our Vancouver, BC office where we've embraced a hybrid work environment (5 of 10 days).

**What you will do**:

- Work closely with artists, designers, engineers and the rest of the team to create and improve art production workflows, tools, pipelines and assets
- Contribute to rendering and shading techniques and processes
- Realize creative visions, art and designs into AR and VR experiences.
- Develop pipelines and efficiency tools for projects and teams.
- Collaborate in small teams to ship experiences working with Unity, Unreal and other graphics tools
- Strongly proficient in Tools such as 3DS Max or Maya
- Experience doing lighting and working with shaders
- Modelling, texturing, rigging, animation and lighting expertise
- Good knowledge of scripting within the game engine
- Experience in AR/VR
- A portfolio of original art
- A desire to help ideate and develop cool interactive experiences that use CGI to communicate and engage

**Nice to haves include**:

- Solid interest or background in Architecture
- Development experience in Unity
- Solid artistic skills (drawing or digital painting) is a plus
