**About the Role**

As the Wellness Lead, you’ll be the go-to person in our Wellness Department. You’ll provide personalized assistance to customers looking for natural health products and offer informed recommendations based on their needs. You’ll also help maintain a well-organized and inspiring department that reflects our commitment to quality, education, and care.

This role requires both a strong product knowledge base and a desire for continued learning. Staying current on trends and research in natural health, participating in regular product and company trainings, and mentoring other team members will all be part of your day-to-day responsibilities.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Deliver exceptional customer service through friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable interactions
- Recommend supplements, vitamins, herbal remedies, and other wellness items with confidence and care
- Stay up to date on new products, ingredients, and research in the natural health field
- Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing wellness shelves and displays
- Support team members to strengthen their product knowledge
- Receive and verify shipments; restock shelves and assist with product merchandising
- Assist the Wellness Buyer with flyers, promos, and marketing
- Assist the Wellness Buyer with data entry and invoice receiving
- Maintain overall store cleanliness and help ensure a smooth shopping experience
- Process customer transactions efficiently and accurately
- Participate in occasional closing shifts (until 7 p.m.) and weekend shifts as required

Note: Must be able to stand for long periods and lift/carry up to 40 lbs repeatedly throughout your shift.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Background or training in nutrition, herbalism, holistic health, or a related field
- Strong knowledge of supplements and natural health products
- Excellent communication and active listening skills
- A friendly, approachable personality with a genuine desire to help others
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and work independently or as part of a collaborative team
- Experience working with computer and POS systems
- Minimum 2 years of retail or customer service experience
- Dependable, positive, and passionate about wellness and lifelong learning

Pay: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
