Custodian/janitor

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming of floors and surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards.
- Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs and reporting repair needs to management.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored after use.
- Follow established safety protocols while performing cleaning duties to ensure a safe working environment.

**Skills**
- Strong ability to clean and maintain various types of surfaces and materials effectively.
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance practices is preferred but not required.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, demonstrating good communication skills.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Pay: $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 35 per week

- janitorial: 1 year (preferred)
