**CONTROLLER**

Are you an accounting professional with an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy rolling up your sleeves in the day-to-day accounting and financials while fostering and supporting your team and the people around you? DOMO Corporation Ltd. is currently recruiting a Controller to join their team in Winnipeg, Manitoba.

Reporting to Senior Management, the Controller will be responsible for all financial reporting and internal controls. This individual will lead and direct the accounting team. This financial role will appeal to a confident professional with excellent interpersonal and communications skills that enjoys being hands-on and driving results.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage the daily operations of the accounting department
- Responsible for all aspects of the accounting operations such as reporting, accounts payable and receivable, general ledger, revenue and expenditure variance analysis and capital assets reconciliation
- Prepare monthly, annual and audited financial statements and related government returns
- Analyze and present financial reports in an accurate and timely manner, clearly communicate monthly and annual financial statements
- Establish and maintain proper accounting methods, policies and principles
- Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy
- Recommend and implement changes as appropriate to improve internal controls and/or efficiencies
- Lead, manage and supervise a team of accounting staff
- Act as a resource and provide assistance and advice to staff with respect to financial issues and the interpretation of financial reports
- Maintain, evaluate and recommend improvements to the accounting systems, and internal controls of the company
- Coordinate the year-end audit process including the review and/or preparation of working papers, schedules, analyses and other required documentation
- Manage financial banking and external professional relationships
- Perform special assignments and any other duties as required

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Completion of recognized accounting designation
- Minimum of 5 years of financial management experience
- Strong IT and POS systems background would be an asset
- Able to work independently and work effectively in a team environment
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with others
- Detail oriented with excellent analytical and technical skills
- Exceptional time management and organizational skills
- Salary commensurate with experience and qualifications

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $10.00-$20.00 per year
