**Schedule**: Sunday to Thursday, 5:15AM to 1:45 PM (with a 30-minute break)

**Job Summary**:
**Responsibilities**:

- **Receiving and Shipping**: Efficiently receive and process incoming shipments including detailed paperwork. Ship outgoing orders accurately and on time.
- **Warehouse Operations**:Maintain an organized and safe warehouse environment. Perform basic repairs and maintenance on equipment and facilities. Oversee waste management, including garbage, cardboard, and recycling. Assist with planning and implementing a new pallet rack system and warehouse configuration
- **Inventory Management**: Utilize our inventory management system to track stock levels, monitor movement, and ensure accuracy. Conduct regular stock checks and cycle counts. Drive stock between our two warehouse locations
- **Customer Service and Administration**: Request credit from vendors. Make calls to customers.
- **Team Leadership**: Train co-workers on shipping and receiving that occurs outside of your core hours. Delegate tasks, provide guidance, and ensure efficient workflow.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years experience in a warehouse or operations role
- Strong understanding of warehouse procedures and best practices
- Physically fit, able to lift 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Proficiency in using inventory management systems
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work in a walk-in cooler and freezer
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Forklift certification is a plus

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

Schedule:

- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Port Coquitlam, BC V3C 6P4: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
