As **Chefs in Training** **Head Instructor**, you will be responsible for providing the lead instruction as well as overseeing other instructors and ensuring a safe, productive and enjoyable experience for all campers. Applicant should be a post-secondary student or have equivalent in a related discipline. Serving as an introduction to the culinary arts, in this camp participants will get to try new foods, read recipes, and practice food preparation basics such as measuring, mixing, and knife handling This high-in-demand camp has a strong focus on food hygiene and kitchen safety, as such, in addition to the aid and supervision of our qualified staff, our budding chefs will be paired or grouped in rotation to allow each camper to participate with and as a "peer safety spotter" during the practice of advanced cooking/preparation techniques. And let's not forget about the best part of this camp: when the food is ready each camper will get to eat their tasty creation and/or take it home to share... that is if they save any for you Campers will also enjoy a hot, nutritional lunch and recreational swim.
