Full Job Description

Motion Films is a wedding film production company based in the lower mainland (Abbotsford). We are seeking two experienced Film Editors to join our team on a full-time and permanent basis. The role is ideal for individuals who show great attention to detail, have a creative eye and have extensive knowledge in wedding film industry. We are also open to providing this opportunity to individuals with mínimal to no experience, who express a passion for cinematography and a desire to share their creative side and learn video editing.

Key Responsibilities:
The Film Editor will be responsible for editing and arranging film segments into sequences to achieve continuity and desired dramatic, comedic, and thematic effects. This process will include the following:

- Working with raw footage to create the finished product
- Manipulating, trimming, and editing film pieces
- Colour grading to enhance footage
- Working closely with others to present a final product

Strong proficiency in the following software:

- Final Cut Pro
- DaVinci Resolve
- Adobe Photoshop

Must Speak one of the following languages:

- English
- Punjabi
- Hindi

**Minimum high school education is required. We are willing to provide full training as well, as long as you are interested in video editing**

Schedule:

- 10 hour shifts
- 12 hour shifts
- 4 hour shifts
- 8 hour shifts
- Evenings
- Holidays
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Bonus pay
- Holiday Bonus
