The northern operations of Miller Paving Limited, centrally located in New Liskeard, Ontario, is devoted to being a great place to work where people are inspired to be the best they can be. Our Northern divisions have also expanded services to include bridge construction as well. A sampling of our wide range of services includes: Roads and highways (new construction and rehabilitation), bridges, culverts and concrete pavement structures and entranceways & parking lots.

**As a Quality Control Technician, You Will**:

- Responsible for maintaining a safe working environment by complying with all safety guidelines
- Perform onsite and laboratory testing (Material Sampling, Compaction, Coring)
- Collect asphalt and aggregate samples from the field.
- Maintain detailed records with sample information and locations
- Use portable nuclear density gauge to determine material densities
- Communicate with site personnel to coordinate sampling schedule
- Other Duties as required

**What You'll Bring**:

- G License and Clean Driver’s Abstract
- Technical knowledge of aggregate and asphalt quality considered an asset
- Excellent communications skills
- Must be attending post-secondary school in civil engineering (preferred)
- Team player
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Combatable towing and reversing a pickup truck and trailer
- Available to work outdoors, days, evening, nights and weekend
- Overnight out of town travel required
