**About the Role**:
As a Childcare Educator at Star Kids, you will play a vital role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You will also support **multiple locations**, ensuring consistency and excellence in care and education, while handling **centre purchases for materials and supplies** to keep our environments well-stocked and engaging.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide a **safe, engaging, and nurturing** space for children.
- Develop and implement **age-appropriate educational activities**.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring their well-being.
- Foster **positive relationships with parents**, sharing updates and addressing concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of learning spaces and play areas.
- Ensure compliance with **Alberta Child Care Licensing Regulations**.
- Support and travel to **multiple Star Kids locations** as required.
- Manage **centre purchases** for classroom materials, supplies, and activities.

**Required Qualifications**:

- **Alberta Child Care Certification Level 3** _(Program Supervisor level)_.
- **Valid First Aid Certification** (including child-specific first aid).
- **Valid Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search**.
- **Valid Driver’s License** and reliable transportation.
- Previous experience in an early childhood setting.
- Knowledge of child development and behavior management techniques.
- Strong ability to **educate and engage children** in meaningful learning.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.

**Nice-to-Have Skills**:

- Background in **Early Childhood Education** or a related field.
- Creativity in lesson planning and classroom engagement.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of children.
- Team-player attitude and collaborative spirit.
