Inventory Assistant

_Position: Inventory Assistant_
- Location: Ingleside, Ontario_
- Monday to Friday._

**General responsibilities**:
The Inventory Assistant is responsible for inventory control and raw material movement, which includes receiving at third party warehouse locations, stock transfers orders between facilities, reconciliation of inventory, supplying ingredients and milk to the production lines, supplies and the cycle count program at external facilities.

**Key responsibilities**:
1. Reconcile and receive all finished goods, raw materials & supplies in to SAP on a daily/weekly and month end reporting.

2. Optimize the inventory control and materials movement required for the planned production volumes which involves interacting with Production Planners, Shipping/Production Supervisors, Quality, vendors, third-party carriers, Finance, customers, Sales personnel, and external facilities.

3. Maintain inventory status at third party warehouse by monitoring and provide direction for the cycle count process and updating SAP with all inventory movements.

4. Communicate with Production and third party to investigate any physical inventory that does not match with SAP, and perform the required adjustment to production.

5. Resolve inventory issues related to shrinkage, gains, returns or cycle count through communications with Customer Service, Transportation, Third Party and the Warehouse.

6. Coordinate and process replenishment orders from third party suppliers and validate /resolve shipment discrepancies

**Education & Experience**
- College diploma preferably in Supply Chain or Material Management
- Three (3) years’ experience in Production / Inventory Planning in an SAP environment

- Proficient with standard office computer technology such as Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office products
