Roadshow Events Specialist

Giatec Scientific Inc. (Giatec) is looking for a passionate **Roadshow Events Specialist** to join our Marketing Team and create a seamless events experience spanning all our digital and physical content and delivery.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinate roadshow events including event planning, completing event contracts, logistics, production of collateral, and execution/presentation at events.
- Develop, maintain and update event software, databases, and shared documents, including facilitating meetings to ensure all team members have visibility into the planning process and status of events.
- Build relationships with event organizers, vendors, and service providers and act as primary contact for all roadshow events services and requests.
- Research of events, attendees, sponsors, and competitors.
- Develop new promotional materials and campaigns, collateral, branded giveaways, and presentation materials as needed.
- Coordinate travel and accommodation arrangements for team members.
- Organize and submit event-related expenses
- Plan and execute Giatec’s Net Zero Construction Conference
- Other events and marketing tasks as required.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- One (1) to three (3) years of tradeshow/event planning and/or management experience or sales.
- Bachelor’s degree or certificate in event planning, business, marketing, communications, or a related field.
- Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
- Strong written and oral communication abilities.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Proven time management skills with a high ability to multitask.
- Self-motivated independent worker, with the ability to take direction and meet tight deadlines.
- Eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment.
- High competency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook.
- Strong project management skills.
- Availability to travel internationally 25% of the time.
- Proven organizational skills.
- Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud is an asset.
- Experience with database management and Power BI is an asset.
