**Job Overview**

Under the general direction of the Warehouse Supervisor, the Customer Service/ Truck Driver is responsible for delivery/pickup of product throughout southwestern Ontario. Providing a superior delivery service for Danby’s retail consumers.

**You will do**:

- Delivery of Sales orders Daily to Local businesses
- Driver is responsible for loading their shipments daily with Pump cart/Hand Cart
- Ensuring the loads is safe for transportation.
- Interacting with customers and provide Customer service with each delivery
- Understand the features and benefits of Danby products to potential customers
- Processing deliveries with Delivery software. Take picture and get POD for deliveries.
- Resolve problems with customers
- Negotiate agreeable solutions to problems such as delivery issues etc
- Drive company truck and execute on delivery and pickup throughout southwestern Ontario
- Responsible for gas receipts and log books updated Daily for tracking and accounting.

**Qualifications Required**:

- Post-secondary education
- 2 years of relevant experience in a retail position
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong time management, prioritization, leadership and communication skill
- Appliance experience is an asset
- A valid G driver’s license with a driving record in good standing
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer skills are an asset.

**Working Conditions**:
The Customer Service/Driver works in various retail settings and drives a truck. This individual spends much of their time in both sitting and standing positions.
