Catering Supervisor

Catering Supervisor is the heartbeat of our Airlines & Catering Department and a very crucial member in our organization. As the Catering Supervisor, you are in-charge of the overall operations for the Airlines Catering Department of the facility. Your goal is to ensure the facility and employees comply with health & safety regulations and make sure to meet the business requirements. Duties include ordering food inventory, preparing specs & filing menus, coordinating with management about price changes, monitoring staff and ensuring everything runs smoothly.
**Responsibilities**:
- Order materials, inventory, supplies, and ingredients based on business demands
- Supervise kitchen employees and organize food orders
- Oversee the food preparation and cooking process
- Recruit, gather the necessary payroll information, and train the kitchen staff in the designated stations
- Monitor inventory levels and perform weekly inventory assessments
- Coordinate with the management / business owner regarding the price & change in menu items
- Schedule work shifts for employees
- Store all the food product in compliance with health & safety regulations
- Maintain weekly & monthly cost reports
- Coordinate with the office management to create required inventory for order days
- Invoicing all the vendors every week that assist catering department
- Communicate with staff & management about upcoming events & audits
- Creating specs & task lists for the employees
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s degree in any Management Program or certification from a recognized culinary school is required
- Class 5F Drivers' License required
- A minimum of 2 years work experience required in a similar role
- In-Depth knowledge of kitchen operations, health & safety regulations
- Ability to work well in a stressful & fast-paced environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills & conflict management abilities
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Outstanding time management & organizational skills
- Flexible with the schedule and adaptable to change
- Great teamplayer & ability to coordinate with multiple departments
**Salary**: $33,500.00-$37,500.00 per year
